Boudreau Staying Positive Despite Losing Streak

After reading Bruce Boudreau's "Behind The Bench" I came away with one thing, trust in Boudreau and the Caps to get it done tomorrow night.  Boudreau said that the team was not playing with the same emotion in its loss to Carolina and that carried into the San Jose and Los Angeles games.
We had emotional wins against Buffalo and New Jersey before the Carolina game, but we should have been emotional against Carolina as well because they always play well against us. They just played better. They came out and scored early and often and we had to play catch up. We did not do the things that we are capable of doing, but they played a game that left us asking, “How are they in last place?”
Boudreau also talked about preparing his team for the coming games.
Today, we went through a lot of stuff that makes us good and we went through a lot of positive film clips. We want to keep everything upbeat and get things back to where we were a week ago. I have not been involved in too many long losing streaks but this is the formula that I use to hopefully get out of them.
I trust Boudreau to right the ship and bring the Capitals back into their winning ways again.  Luckily for us, we aren't in much danger of losing the southeast division with the Thrashers on a horrible 8 game losing streak while maintaining a 12 point lead over them and Tampa Bay.

Boudreau did say that he and the team could not wait to return to Verizon Center to take on the Montreal.
We are looking forward to getting back in front of our home crowd tomorrow. There will be a lot of enthusiasm and hopefully we will be a better team.
